What it looks like to have it all for the modern Muslim woman

She was fighting a battle to hold onto her own hopes, dreams and ambitions

and

and she was fighting to save her marriage

I see this so often where the modern, ambitious woman is having to choose between her own dreams, goals and ambitions whilst fulfilling the duty of a mother and a wife.

Lets be honest in our culture (Yes culture NOT religion) there is so much judgement, stigma and criticism if a woman does not show up as the ‘perfect’ wife or mother.

But I know, like me, you have big dreams and ambitions and are not ready to give up on those! Right?

For me, having it all means there is harmony between all the roles you play so you fulfill the obligations that Allah has placed on you whilst reaching your own goals.

Now I am not keen on labels as for me getting to the core root of challenges is much more important.

When my client thought she had a money block, I knew things ran a lot deeper than this.

What she thought was a money block was in fact

-Lack of self worth as she did not believe she was deserving of abundance

-Fear of being more successful than her husband and what that would mean for her marriage (she was afraid it would lead to divorce so she rejected opportunities)

-Fear of rejection from clients so she held herself back

-Imposter syndrome

-Scarcity mindset

After only a few sessions with me, she

let go of fear of rejection and confidently began taking risks and exploring new opportunities

stopped second guessing and doubting herself and instead became more focused on her goal, working purposefully and intentionally

developed emotional intelligence skills resulting in her remaining consistent even when difficult emotions overwhelmed her

became rooted in faith, no longer tying her worth to the results in her business

developed a stronger relationship with her husband and children

was no longer emotionally overwhelmed by the challenges that came up and instead became resilient

The one lesson she took away

YOU get to create that harmony between the roles of a mother, wife, entrepreneur, ambitious woman, daughter, muslim…. without having to sacrifice your dreams and goals.

This is the power of Emotional Intelligence and the results of doing the inner work. The ripples of impact spread to all areas of your life; your business, your relationships, your faith and your health.
